well, my daughter still a bit too young to drink teh botol sosro, but apparently she's big enough to know that it's my favorite drink. so everytime i drink one, she'd try to grab it from my hand cuz she wants the taste of ... the straw! hahah.. in baby language, it's called 'teething'. yup, she just loooves to bite on to the straw (oh and sometimes lick the carton too!). and of course, i'd give an empty one for her, just in case, she finally figured out how to suck on those straws.Labels: 2008

these days, many parents are pressured to have their kids to start everything at early age. early learning from potty training to reading. i'm not exactly a big fan of this parenting style. my principle is to let the kids be who they are. no need to pressure them to do something they don't want yet. they should act and behave like kids should be.
although, i found that .. my five-month-old baby loooveess to flip books. of course, she doesn't know how to read yet, but she loves observing and looking at alphabets, books, etc.

it's been 4 months since i gave birth. my baby daughter has definitely grown up. this pic was taken over the weekend when i took her to tampines mall. she was already thirsty and couldn't wait till we get in the car so i can feed her. in the meantime, she kept pulling her hat as to say.. this picture was taken by my hubby a few days after we moved to our new apartment. since my office is in the east of singapore, we opted to live close to the east side so i can have the flexibility to go home during office hour to attend to my daughter's needs.
this is bedok at night, taken towards the east side of singapore. it may not as fancy as the buildings located in the central singapore, but it sure is a nice view from our new 25th floor apartment in bedok.

i took this picture a while ago towards the end of 2007. at the time, i was almost 5 months pregnant and my belly bump has already started to show. though people keep telling me that i don't look pregnant yet, i thought it was already obvious. hence, people on public bus or MRT still won't give up their seat when they see me on board. i wonder if it's because they're just plain intolerant or because they are not quite sure if i was pregnant or not. in any other day, i don't really care if they won't give up their seat for me, but during that period, i was experiencing a lot of dizziness if i stand up too long due to my low blood count.
then i saw this sign on the bus i took to work. the sign says to offer the seats to the elderly, the disabled, or those with children. nothing says for pregnant women! that's why they don't feel oblige to give up their seats. *sigh*Labels: 2008
