Finding Nemo after the hillarious toy story (1 & 2) and monster, inc. pixar studio did it again. since i saw the trailer on the theater months ago, i knew i gotta watch this movie. i knew it's gonna be a good one. and indeed.. i was right!!!

as many animation movies from this studio, the theme is made for kids and family, hence light and entertaining story. but making these type of movies is not so easy.. i'm sure.. and to create such a package that's entertaining, yet for kids and could grab their focus.. it's quite a tough job. and this movie completes it all.

the story is about a 'clown' fish, marlon, who lost his wife and unborn eggs when their home was attacked by shark. when he realized that everyone's gone, he found one surviving egg and promised to take care of his baby for as long as he lives. he named the baby fish nemo. nemo grows up to be a fish with a bad fin and that gives more reason for marlon to be more protective of nemo. and he was indeed.

on nemo's first day of school (it's funny that they created this life under the sea just like the life we would relate too), his dad followed him and didn't trust nemo's judgement and let him go to take on the world. so nemo dared himself and swim near the fishing boat and got caught. he ended up in an aquarium in a dentist's office in sydney. so marlon goes on an adventure across the ocean to find his son, nemo. he made friends with some sharks who tried to control themselves by saying "fish are friends, not food", took a ride with the sea turtles, and met a funny companion, named dorie. dorie is a funny fish who has a short-term memory.

i fell in love with all the characters right away, especially dorie and crush, the sea turtle that has a lazy voice and sounds like some beach kid from california. it's a good family movie and the cartoon was so beautiful that everything does not look like regular cartoon i watched when i was little.. i think it's a 3D animation or something.. (ok, i'm not that familiar with animation process, so i wouldn't really know what kind of animation this is.. but it's hella good!).. anyone care for a better explanation?

after the movie.. all i think about was.. i wish i had this kinda cartoon when i was young.. .. but then again, i am still young!! *lol*
