oh gosh, it's already in the mid of january, and i haven't even updated my blog!! shame on me!
well, not that i ignore it. i know many have criticized me for it (especially you, my one loyal reader.. you know who you are!) but i just can't seem to find the time. way to start the year, isn't it?
actually, my year starts nicely. i spent my new year's eve with friends and one of my most favorite person :). within the first week in 2007, big things already happening.
first comes my birthday. surprisingly many remember this time. and i had to celebrate 3 times. some friends who were with me during new year's eve ended up giving up a chocolate cake on that evening cuz they won't be around on my birthday. so it was nice to have a little early birthday celebration for once.. ;) then, i celebrated the day with candle-light dinner while there's an unbelievably scary storm happening outside, although a nice sweet surprise came all day long (thanks darling!). and third, i was setup to have a meeting in the morning i came back from my leave (2 days after the actual bday) with my boss (yes, he was part of the setup!). in the middle of it, a bunch of people stormed in with chocolate cake and candles to the room and screamed "happy birthday" -- while i was having a 'meeting' (which later i found to be a fake one!) with my boss. it was nice!
then the weekend after the birthday, i went through the first family ordeal, the beginning of the crazy things that would happen for the next few months.
it was definitely a tiring week. not to mention, workload hasn't been light these days. i enjoy it. though now i don't have time to blog :)
i haven't even uploaded my pictures from the vacation. it's still stuck inside my battery-dead camera. hence, no update on the pikofdawik or this page.
so forgive me if you see less updates... i'll keep on trying to whenever i can though. believe me!
as for new year resolution, last year i made one during my hiatus. last year was a great year for me. new company, new job, new relationship -- all happening in the early weeks of the year.
this time.. my resolution is simple. to go through everything as planned and with no hassle. i'll be seeing another chapter of my life once again this year. so, we'll see....
and well, maybe a bit belated.. but.. happy new year, all!!!
